Cybersecurity Project Management Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support a premier law enforcement agency's cybersecurity compliance program for the CISO to modernize cybersecurity initiatives.
• Coordinate with various project-implementing divisions and provide oversight of cybersecurity programs to client leadership.
• Advise the CISO and CIO on cybersecurity activities and provide recommendations for portfolio prioritization.
• Provide program management support, business process analysis, and planning capabilities.
• Develop briefing materials and executive-level presentations to support project status updates.
• Facilitate and execute bi-weekly Program Management Review (PMR) sessions with executive leadership.
• Provide input for monthly performance dashboards.

Requirements

• Active and maintained Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or managing cybersecurity programs.
• Practical knowledge of Zero Trust, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and enterprise logging.
• (Note: Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency in creating executive-level presentations and briefings.
• Proficiency with Power BI tools.
• Previous experience working with the Department of Justice (DOJ).
