Cybersecurity Operations Consultant

Responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts and anomalies using Google security tools including Security Command Center, Security Operations, and DLP
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to support architecture changes and implement new solutions in Google environments
• Identify and suggest new detection use cases for real-time threat detection
• Develop and maintain automation playbooks using Google Cloud Functions, SOAR, and Security Orchestration
• Support security risk assessments and audits related to Cloud environments
• Ensure ICT environment compliance with ISO 27001 standards
• Manage vulnerabilities using Google-native or third-party tools like Qualys and Crowdstrike
• Monitor and act on security operations activities in coordination with the 24/7 SOC
• Support the integration of Google Cloud security with other controls like Splunk and CrowdStrike

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in Information Technology
• Experience in incident response or forensics within a Google Cloud environment
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security architecture and controls in Google Cloud
• University degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Expert knowledge of English
