About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cybersecurity metrics and KPIs to measure control effectiveness, risk exposure, and compliance status.
- Develop and automate dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools.
- Manage data models and ensure accurate, consistent reporting across domains like vulnerability management and incident response.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to aggregate and validate data from various cybersecurity tools.
- Deliver executive-friendly reports that translate technical data into business-relevant insights for leadership and auditors.
- Establish governance processes for metric definitions, data quality, and reporting cadence.
- Support compliance and audit reporting for standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT risk functions.
- 3+ years of experience in a metrics, reporting, or data analytics leadership role.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, or Power Query for data manipulation and automation.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK) and metrics (MTTD, MTTR).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical data to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Certifications in cybersecurity control frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
- Experience with security platforms including SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, EDR, or GRC platforms.
- Experience with compliance and audit reporting.
