Cybersecurity – Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Responsibilities

• Perform security analysis of operational and development environments to assess compliance with industry and government standards
• Support and implement Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes under the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Facilitate the development of MOUs, ISAs, and Risk Acceptance Letters, and support Continuous Monitoring (CONMON)
• Manage system configurations and conduct audits to ensure security posture integrity
• Conduct risk assessments, investigations, and participate in incident response activities
• Perform periodic hardware and software inventory assessments
• Interface with government customers and company personnel to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements

Requirements

• IAM Level 1 DoD 8140.01 compliant certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM)
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• 3+ years of experience as an ISSO or ISSM supporting classified programs
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with RMF security tools including NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, and HBSS
• Experience with cybersecurity policies such as DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series
• Experience assessing and documenting test or analysis data for cybersecurity compliance
