Cybersecurity Engineer - Threat Modeling

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the security posture of applications, data, infrastructure, and processes
• Uncover and remediate vulnerabilities across the firm
• Partner with teams to analyze security implications of design decisions
• Guide teams to build security into applications from the ground up
• Perform practical threat modeling and translate security principles into architectural improvements
• Identify and help resolve vulnerabilities with system owners
• Balance tradeoffs between security controls and business requirements

Requirements

• Offensive security background
• Experience building secure solutions from the ground up
• Practical threat modeling skills
• Strong Linux background and scripting ability
• Ability to evaluate security tradeoffs and make risk-based decisions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to teach threat modeling concepts
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in any programming language
