Cybersecurity Engineer - Privileged Access Management

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale secure, cloud-first identity and privileged access management (PAM) solutions for a global enterprise.
• Develop and enhance IAM capabilities across authentication, authorization, and identity governance.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SCIM, web services, and event-driven architectures.
• Implement and optimize identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, access requests, and deprovisioning.
• Define and enforce access models such as least privilege, Just-in-Time (JIT) access, and break-glass governance.
• Develop automation and reusable services for credential vaulting and password rotation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version-controlled deployments for IAM/PAM solutions.
• Enhance observability through logging, monitoring, alerting, and privileged session tracking.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and leverage AI-driven automation for identity operations and anomaly detection.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of IAM engineering experience, with at least 2 years of direct PAM experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong scripting expertise in Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with system integration using REST APIs, SCIM, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, mTLS, and JWT.
• Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management and Non-Human Identity (NHI) security.
• Hands-on expertise in credential vaulting, password rotation, and privileged session management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with the DevOps ecosystem, including CI/CD, Git, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BeyondTrust (Password Safe, PRA, EPM) or SailPoint (IIQ/ISC).
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations.
• Proficiency in using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
