Cybersecurity Engineer (GRC)

Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalise adaptable frameworks to enhance the cyber resilience of enterprise systems.
• Assess and provide guidance on security design, architecture, and standards.
• Review and recommend enhancements to security architecture and provide controls for policy development.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure timely submission of regular reports, such as cybersecurity scorecards.
• Drive cybersecurity awareness initiatives across the organisation.
• Assist in managing curriculum planning and development for training matters.
• Conduct gap analyses against new requirements to ensure compliance with Singapore Government policies.
• Identify and assess gaps from audits, compliance activities, and security incidents to develop corrective plans.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Cybersecurity, preferably within a public sector environment.
• Experience in maintaining security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Familiarity with Singapore Government security policies and standards.
• Experience in managing or supporting security audits and compliance reviews.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant cybersecurity professional qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
