Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise security measures across systems, networks, and applications
• Develop and maintain documentation including technology evaluations and incident reports
• Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests using tools like Nessus, Nmap, and Wireshark
• Lead forensic investigations and execute incident response and disaster recovery efforts
• Advise clients on integrating advanced technologies like AI while mitigating risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cybersecurity best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity
• Proficiency with Microsoft security suite (Defender, Purview, Sentinel, etc.)
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, Active Directory, and Entra
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
