Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough security-by-design assessments to ensure requirements are implemented throughout the system lifecycle.
• Participate in the scoping and review of ICT security tests, reviews, and audits to achieve security assurance.
• Analyze cybersecurity challenges and vulnerabilities associated with emerging technologies like 5G, IoT, and AI.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of new security tools and technologies.
• Provide guidance on security architecture, standards, and controls for policy development.
• Support stakeholders in remediating security risks and understanding mitigation measures.
• Review security architecture and implementations to ensure compliance with prevailing ICT security policies.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure timely submission of cybersecurity scorecards and drive awareness initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
• Experience in maintaining security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Familiarity with Singapore Government security policies and standards.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and conducting risk assessments.
• Experience in managing or supporting security audits and compliance reviews.
• Relevant professional certification such as CISSP or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
