About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity architecture during project execution to ensure alignment with design directives and contractual requirements.
- Execute security engineering tasks, including the deployment, configuration, and hardening of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and other security devices.
- Participate in design reviews from a cybersecurity perspective and challenge technical choices when necessary.
- Support the evaluation of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products to meet specific project needs.
- Provide technical support for customer queries, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with global technical teams and internal engineering functions to ensure a cohesive security approach.
- Assist tender teams by providing cybersecurity products and solutions for railway domain bids.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in information technology and security.
- Hands-on experience with security products such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, Syslogers, and WIPS.
- Strong understanding of security protocols including Radius, VPN, IP-SEC, and SSH.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in embedded or industrial systems (e.g., railway, aeronautics).
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP, or GSEC.
- Knowledge of networking and network design.
