Cybersecurity Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver cybersecurity consulting engagements across various industries and customer environments.
• Provide strategic advisory services covering cybersecurity strategy, governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance programs.
• Conduct maturity assessments against recognized standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Perform gap assessments, risk assessments, and control effectiveness reviews to identify security weaknesses.
• Develop prioritized remediation roadmaps and cybersecurity operating models aligned with business objectives.
• Advise customers on the design and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations to executive leadership and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, specifically in advisory or consulting roles.
• At least one valid NCSC-approved certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or CISA).
• Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, and regional regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and verbal) with strong presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in cybersecurity or information systems.
• Multiple professional certifications across governance, risk, and audit.
• Prior experience working in a consultancy, system integrator, or telco-affiliated security practice serving regulated sectors.
