Cybersecurity Change Management Engineer

Responsibilities

• Govern, coordinate, and validate changes made to security-critical infrastructure, including firewalls, servers, cloud workloads, and network systems.
• Represent technology changes in the Change Approval/Advisory Board (CAB) and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and implement strategies to maximize adoption while minimizing resistance.
• Collaborate with risk liaisons to ensure remediation plans are in place for critical and high risks, tracking timelines via ERD and ERT frameworks.
• Ensure all changes align with regulatory requirements and internal standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Support audit readiness and documentation for risk closure and technical debt management.
• Design and deliver communication and training programs to support change adoption and coach senior leaders as change sponsors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk analysis, and change management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL.
