Cybersecurity Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, govern, and improve secure architecture across enterprise platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
• Conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and lead cybersecurity architecture risk assessments (ISARs).
• Define and maintain enterprise security architecture for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Embed security controls early in the project lifecycle using a "shift-left" model by partnering with engineering and product teams.
• Architect encryption strategies for data at rest, in transit, and in use, including PKI, HSM, and certificate lifecycle automation.
• Establish cryptographic key management standards and oversee key custody models.
• Ensure architectural compliance with regulatory mandates and support regulatory examinations and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of architecture experience within financial services or similarly regulated industries.
• Deep expertise in encryption technologies, including PKI architecture, HSM deployment, and certificate lifecycle automation.
• Experience designing secure architectures in cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Proven experience conducting threat modeling and architecture risk assessments.
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as NIST, PCI-DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, GLBA, and NYDFS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience specifically in Cybersecurity roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
