Cybersecurity Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support front-line user support, user access management workflows, and system change requests
• Manage records and assist with the maintenance and delivery of information systems security education and training
• Assist in gathering metrics, performing data entry, and managing program and user requests
• Support configuration management for software and hardware and assist with IS Lifecycle Management
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Managers, ISSMs, and ISSOs to ensure adherence to DoD regulatory policies including RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience
• Less than 2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT, compliance auditing, or administrative management
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
• Experience working with computer technologies such as databases, operating systems, or network hardware

Preferred Qualifications

• IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+)
• Experience working in DoD classified operating or laboratory environments
• Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance standards such as NISPOM, DAAPM, JSIG, or NIST publications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting evaluation results
• Ability to proactively identify process gaps and implement improvements
