Cybersecurity Analyst N1

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and detect incidents within the SIEM unit to mitigate and contain cybersecurity risks
• Review and analyze alerts generated by security systems, including network intrusions, suspicious user behavior, and malware
• Respond to low-complexity security incidents following established procedures and escalate complex cases
• Perform initial investigations to identify root causes and collect forensic evidence
• Register all service activities and incident details using ticketing tools
• Execute incident response actions such as requesting IP blocks in WAF, endpoint scans via EDR, and managing email whitelists/blacklists
• Maintain updated documentation regarding security processes, incidents, and lessons learned

Requirements

• FP Grado Superior in Cybersecurity or a University Degree in Systems or Telecommunications Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in L1 support or datacenter operations
• Experience with SIEM operations and incident management tools
• Solid understanding of the OSI model and operating systems
• Scripting skills in languages such as JavaScript, PHP, PowerShell, or TCL
• Proficiency in Spanish (English B1 is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM Certified SOC Analyst certification
• Hands-on experience with IBM QRadar SIEM
• Experience with perimeter protection systems such as firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, and antimalware
