Cybersecurity Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts across systems and endpoints
• Investigate incidents including phishing, account compromise, and suspicious activity
• Support threat analysis, containment, and resolution efforts
• Work with SIEM, endpoint security, and email security platforms
• Contribute to SOC 2 audit readiness and documentation
• Manage and review access controls and user activity
• Support endpoint patching, device compliance, and network/identity protection
• Identify security gaps and recommend improvements
• Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and incident tracking

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity or IT security
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, endpoint protection, or similar tools
• Incident investigation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage security issues independently
• Understanding of security controls, access management, and risk mitigation
• Familiarity with audit or compliance environments (SOC 2 a plus)
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
