Cybersecurity Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity technical support to the Navy, including unclassified and classified Assessment & Authorization (A&A) requirements.
• Perform technical reviews of A&A documentation for compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Conduct Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) compliance audits and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM).
• Perform risk analyses and recommend mitigating controls to address vulnerabilities.
• Assist in the development and tracking of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
• Serve as a security advisor regarding the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Coordinate with system owners to ensure appropriate A&A artifacts are developed for system authorization.
• Provide security incident reports outlining critical concerns and required remediation actions.

Requirements

• Active Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware for system integration.
• Experience in Information System Security, System/Network Administration, or IT System Implementation and Maintenance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
