Cyber Vulnerability Analyst

Responsibilities

• Simulate adversary tactics and techniques to proactively identify and prevent threats to critical U.S. systems
• Analyze and correlate threat data from disparate sources to inform cyber operations
• Perform detailed log file analysis and create threat intelligence reports including findings and mitigations
• Document technical findings and present results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with development teams to articulate requirements for securing capabilities and tools
• Work with IC mission cybersecurity analysts to understand adversaries and develop mission-specific TTPs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Forensics, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in intelligence, information security, network forensics, or security operations
• Deep understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• Proficiency in TCP/IP communication protocols and PCAP analysis using Wireshark
• Experience with log file analysis and threat intelligence reporting
• Familiarity writing signatures in Zeek and/or Snort
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as GCTI, OSCP, GIAC, CEH, or CRT
• Experience with XKS for creating general queries, fingerprinting, and identifying atypical events
