Cyber Threat Operations & Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert analyzing and operationalizing threat intelligence to support proactive defensive cyber activities.
• Analyze, correlate, and synthesize threat data from diverse sources to prevent threats to critical U.S. systems.
• Perform deep-dive log file and PCAP analysis using tools like Wireshark to understand adversary behavior.
• Create detailed threat intelligence reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings and mitigations.
• Collaborate with development teams to articulate requirements for capability and tool enhancements.
• Document findings to ensure cyber tradecraft is continually updated and present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, network forensics, or a related data analysis field.
• 10+ years of experience in intelligence, information security, network forensics, insider threat, or security operations.
• Deep understanding of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), cyber actor motives, and global threat landscapes.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Elastic or Splunk, including experience creating dashboards.
• Technical expertise in TCP/IP protocols, packet flow analysis, and familiarity with writing signatures in Zeek or Snort.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
