Cyber Security Vulnerability Researcher, Advanced

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into cyber threats, adversarial offensive and defensive tools, techniques, methods, and mitigation solutions
• Develop solutions for computer hardware and software with a focus on system security and vulnerability
• Perform technical and nontechnical risk and vulnerability assessments of local computing environments, networks, infrastructure, and applications
• Analyze the security of new or existing computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs and provide actionable results
• Perform risk analysis regarding threat, vulnerability, and probability of occurrence during major system changes
• Identify issues and vulnerabilities associated with the development and implementation of operational programs

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required
• Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain qualifications aligned with DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) roles within 30 days of start
• Ability to work on-site in Lexington Park, MD

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of adversarial threat representation tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Experience programming in Python
• Experience and knowledge of naval aviation acquisition programs
• Certification in either Microsoft or Linux OS
