Cyber Security Testing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical security testing of applications, systems, APIs, websites, and supporting infrastructure.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security validation using manual and automated techniques.
• Perform manual assessments including structured Q&A-based evaluations, evidence review, and technical control validation.
• Analyze findings, validate risk, and document security issues to support remediation by engineering teams.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to support secure design decisions and clarify findings.
• Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques, including those involving AI-enabled threats.
• Contribute to the evolution of security testing playbooks, processes, and documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in an enterprise cyber security environment.
• Proven experience in security testing, vulnerability management, or application security.
• Experience with technical control validation and structured security assessments.
• Ability to communicate technical security issues and risks clearly to diverse audiences.
• Methodical, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership over outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI and LLMs to accelerate security research or documentation.
• Proficiency with modern security tools, scripting, and automated testing approaches.
• Familiarity with operating security at scale within complex enterprise environments.
