Cyber Security Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and continuously improve production security platforms to ensure reliability and performance
• Configure and optimize enterprise security platforms, including supporting upgrades and lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot operational issues across security controls and platforms
• Automate platform configuration and operational workflows using scripting and tooling
• Provide engineering support during security incidents, including root-cause analysis and implementing fixes
• Improve platform observability, telemetry pipelines, and data flows

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in cyber security engineering or platform engineering roles
• Hands-on experience operating and configuring enterprise security platforms
• Experience troubleshooting operational issues across security controls
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages
• Experience with security domains such as EDR/XDR, WAF, SIEM, or Secure Web Gateways

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud security platform engineering
• Ability to integrate security tooling within CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with platform telemetry and observability tooling
