Cyber Security Engineer, Staff

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security architects and cloud security engineers to drive environment hardening initiatives.
• Partner with IT and business units to conduct security assessments, generate threat models, and validate security guidance.
• Provide technical leadership and security recommendations for existing and new applications, systems, and network architectures.
• Lead day-to-day cloud security operations, including the remediation of CSPM findings, configuration drift, and identity risks.
• Embed cloud security into delivery workflows by partnering with infrastructure teams to ensure secure configurations and least privilege access.
• Act as a mentor and technical lead, providing guidance to other staff members and tracking data security findings to closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, Cyber Security, or a related technical area.
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IAM, network security, and workload protection.
• 5+ years of experience in a project or program leadership role.
• 4+ years of experience in software or application testing (QA, test case creation, or prototype environments).
• 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C, C++, or Java.
