Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis of specialized applications and operational environments
• Design, integrate, and implement solutions for complex technical problems
• Assist with system improvements, optimization, and maintenance in networking, telecommunications, and software
• Define, review, and enforce information security policies and standards
• Identify IT security risks from technical and functional perspectives
• Conduct technical security assessments, audits, penetration testing, and forensic IT functions
• Configure and manage SIEM tools
• Coordinate and lead security project implementations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Or 8 years of experience in IT Engineering or IT security
• At least one relevant certification: Security+, CAP, CISM, CISSP, GIAC, or GSLC
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
