Cyber Security Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Administer tools and processes to secure technical areas and data, including participating in security audits and implementing risk mitigation solutions.
• Identify and evaluate potential threats or vulnerabilities within the Bank's networks, applications, or systems.
• Compile and analyze data from internal and external sources to create actionable security intelligence.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents such as unauthorized access, malware infections, and cyber attacks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, technology, and security trends to enhance organizational defenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in systems engineering, networking, or information security; OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience in these fields.
• Knowledge of data security practices, monitoring/alert tools, and risk management standards.
• Proficiency with Active Directory administration, user provisioning, DNS, GPO, NTFS, and SharePoint.
• Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and technologies.
• Ability to clearly communicate identified risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Availability to provide after-hours operational support on a rotational basis.
