About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate within a custom, air-gapped Department of Defense IT network to perform advanced support and deployment of new capabilities
  • Implement and sustain security requirements for deployed products and services in operational states
  • Create and update system documentation, schematics, and operational guides and procedures
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to define and implement cyber risk posture and mitigation strategies
  • Present technical concepts and ideas to a wide range of audiences

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance required
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CISSP or Security+)
  • STEM degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Solid background in Systems Administration using Linux and Windows (Windows 11, Server 2022, RHEL)
  • Understanding of enterprise IT security including ICAM, enterprise messaging, logging, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge of Enterprise Identity Management applications including LDAP (Active Directory) and PKI
  • Experience maintaining Windows servers and troubleshooting software applications
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls and managing firewall policies/rulesets
  • Understanding of network engineering fundamentals such as OSI layers, TCP/IP, VLANs, and IP addressing
