Cyber Security Consultant

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and red teaming exercises to identify and mitigate risks.
• Perform security assessments and gap analysis based on frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Advise clients on cyber governance standards, including PCI DSS, GDPR, and DPDP.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with industry best practices.
• Provide technical expertise to improve client security architecture and threat management.
• Offer guidance on incident response planning, execution, and post-incident analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations regarding findings, remediation plans, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security.
• Expertise in Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, and Red Teaming.
• Strong understanding of security technologies including firewalls, SIEMs, and IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
• Experience with cloud security practices and tools in AWS or Azure environments.
• Familiarity with risk management methodologies and threat intelligence.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP.
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor certification.
