Cyber Security Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security strategies for specific domains such as Identity and Access Management or Compute.
• Review existing and proposed architectures to identify security gaps through threat modeling and technical risk assessments.
• Function as a solutions architect for security solutions, providing initial architecture and leading foundational integrations.
• Serve as an Information Security subject matter expert, providing advisory and consulting services to enterprise stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and technologies to influence future security strategy and design patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in IT/Information Security, OR High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of experience in IT/Information Security.
• Experience with threat modeling methodologies such as PASTA, STRIDE, or DREAD.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks like NIST, ISO, or CIS.
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Experience with scripting or programming.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of providing security architecture expertise in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with cyber-attack taxonomies like CAPEC or ATT&CK.
• Advanced security certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
• Experience working within a Large Financial Institution (LFI).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
