Cyber Security Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine security architectures addressing IT and OT convergence in the energy sector
• Provide expert guidance to leadership and propose actionable security improvements
• Participate in the security architecture council to evaluate and approve designs
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams during implementation and configuration of security best practices
• Establish security frameworks, policies, and guidelines
• Solve complex security challenges balancing risk with operational efficiency

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in cyber security and security architecture
• Strong educational background in IT, computer science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as SABSA or CISSP
• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and completion of a NIST training programme
• Strategic mindset to translate complex security concepts into actionable plans
• Experience with IT/OT intersection in critical infrastructure (energy, utilities, or industrial systems) is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
