Cyber Security Analyst/Researcher

Responsibilities

• Analyze security incidents tagged by the XVigil digital risk monitoring platform
• Investigate security breaches and document the resulting damage and impact
• Identify web application vulnerabilities and provide guidance on remediation
• Monitor prospect dashboards during the demo phase to ensure seamless onboarding
• Act as a technical focal point for customer problem resolution and incident analysis
• Proactively identify security issues that exceed current tool capabilities

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity attack vectors and common attack scenarios
• Intermediate understanding of networking, internet protocols, and network security design
• Knowledge of Firewalls, VPNs, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Experience with web application penetration testing techniques
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Ruby
• Basic knowledge of Bash scripting
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact confidently with clients to explain complex security solutions
