Cyber Risk Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

• Act as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in maximizing efficiencies and minimizing risk through proper information systems and controls.
• Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and potential organizational impacts.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to protect against cyber threats.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure cybersecurity policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
• Oversee the cyber risk management lifecycle, including identification, analysis, response, and monitoring.
• Prepare and present risk reports and dashboards to senior management and boards of directors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cybersecurity and data protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Proven experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Ability to travel outside of assigned office locations at least 50% of the time.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
• Additional certifications including CISA, CIPP, CCSP, or cloud-based credentials (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience in business, accounting, finance, or computer science disciplines.
