About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in maximizing efficiencies and minimizing risk through proper information systems and controls.
- Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and potential organizational impacts.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to protect against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure cybersecurity policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
- Oversee the cyber risk management lifecycle, including identification, analysis, response, and monitoring.
- Prepare and present risk reports and dashboards to senior management and boards of directors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cybersecurity and data protection.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
- Proven experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Ability to travel outside of assigned office locations at least 50% of the time.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
- Additional certifications including CISA, CIPP, CCSP, or cloud-based credentials (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience in business, accounting, finance, or computer science disciplines.
