About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Event Design Team in designing, executing, and coordinating realistic cybersecurity training and test scenarios for the DoD National Cyber Range Complex.
  • Engage with customers to document test requirements and translate user needs into actionable tasks.
  • Assess and conceptualize test scenarios, approaches, objectives, and plans using state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop cyber terrain that replicates operational environments and real-world threats.
  • Oversee the integration of defensive and offensive cyber tools, TTPs, and emerging technologies into event scenarios.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading small, specialized teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CSWF certification requirements.
  • Proficiency in using software to develop network diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and data flow diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with cyber ranges.
  • Master’s Degree in a STEM subject (Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or Cybersecurity).
  • IAT Level III or IAM Level III certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with stovepipe application configuration and network configuration with virtualized OS.
