About the role
Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor and analyze global cyber threats through in-depth security research and threat hunting, including network traffic and malware analysis.
- Engineer large-scale, AI-powered threat research systems to discover actionable intelligence.
- Develop novel methodologies to uncover unique threats by working with large datasets using programming languages and analytical tools.
- Utilize frontier and enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate threat research synthesis and risk assessment documentation.
- Apply AI-assisted approaches to automate threat detection and analysis workflows while ensuring all outputs are validated and secure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Red Team, Penetration Testing, or relevant Cyber Operations roles.
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, enterprise IT infrastructure, operating system internals, and networking.
- Strong data acumen with the ability to interrogate large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, to automate data collection and security tasks.
- Demonstrated experience using AI capabilities within a professional security research workflow with a strong focus on data sensitivity and validation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical curiosity and a passion for continuous experimentation and innovation in the cyber domain.
- Experience implementing software systems for big data collection, ingestion, and processing.
- Background working within the intelligence community or international institutions conducting security-related work.
- Hands-on experience in offensive security disciplines such as Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, or Bug Bounty research.
