Cyber Defense Engineer Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cyber defense components for SOC environments, including SIEM, NIDPS, SOAR, EDR, and UBA
• Study attack techniques and develop associated detection strategies
• Automate processes for managing and creating team detection content
• Support continuous improvement of team processes through benchmarking Blue and Red Team solutions

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's level program (BAC +5) in Information Systems Security
• Strong general knowledge of computer systems and cyber attack techniques
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and network administration
• DevOps skills including Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Knowledge of ethical hacking and system security regulatory aspects
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, SIRP, NIDPS, or EDR
• French nationality is required for security clearance purposes
• Intermediate English and advanced French language skills
