About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the NAVAIR Cyber Planning and Response Center (CPRC) through cyber incident triage and situational awareness.
- Apply mathematical modeling and optimization methods to assist management with decision-making and policy formulation.
- Maintain real-time situational awareness of the operational environment and manage responses to cyber incidents and directives.
- Synthesize qualitative cyber vulnerabilities and complex operational data into actionable products for senior leadership.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
- Monitor performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), and Measures of Capability (MOCs).
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational feasibility.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- 3+ years of related experience performing work related to the functional description.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to meet DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) qualification requirements (roles 111, 461, 511, 541, 612, or 622) within 30 days of starting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with Cyber Planning and Response Centers.
- Knowledge of existing Cyber Planning and Response Center policies, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP).
- Experience in incident response coordination and process improvement.
- Familiarity with the DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) and Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC).
