Cutting & Stitching Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cutting and stitching machines for the production of bags, including lohia bags and custom designs
• Accurately cut fabric and materials according to specified patterns and dimensions using manual or automated equipment
• Perform precise stitching using industrial sewing machines, ensuring consistent quality, alignment, and durability
• Inspect finished products for defects or deviations from quality standards before final packaging
• Follow safety protocols and conduct routine equipment maintenance to prevent downtime
• Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and maintain workflow efficiency
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and quality control standards in accordance with company regulations

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in cutting and stitching operations within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines and cutting tools, specifically in bag manufacturing
• Demonstrated proficiency in lohia bag stitching techniques and pattern-based cutting processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, templates, and production specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality output
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
• Familiarity with workplace safety practices and equipment handling procedures
