Cutting Foreman

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise workers while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines
• Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines
• Develop and implement quality control programs and inspect projects for compliance
• Investigate accidents, damage, or delays to ensure proper procedures are followed
• Evaluate employee performance, prepare appraisals, and assess training needs
• Prepare and maintain work records, including employee time, wages, and inspection results
• Resolve personnel problems and recommend actions such as promotions or disciplinary measures
• Evaluate cutting methods to determine the cost-effectiveness of plans

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of related work experience
• Proficiency with Internet, spreadsheets, and word processing software
