Customs Management Professional

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, and internal company policies.
• Monitor AEO requirements, organize audit processes, and support customs audits.
• Oversee the accuracy of customs declarations and perform necessary controls to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Track customs clearance performance and develop KPIs to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Identify customs risks, investigate operational issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead customs-related projects, including automation initiatives, system enhancements, and SOP development.
• Analyze customs data and prepare regular reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their operational and financial impact on the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Law, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in customs operations, international trade, trade compliance, or customs consulting.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, customs valuation, tariff classification, rules of origin, and import/export procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel as needed and availability to address urgent customs-related issues.
