Customs Expert

Responsibilities

• Ensure customs regulatory monitoring and implement new regulations and procedures across relevant departments
• Manage all customs authorizations and permits, including DCN, EE, EA, and Certex
• Lead the AEO (OEA) certification process and manage customs clearance proxies
• Control import/export customs declarations and supervise clearances, including non-compliant MMPJ cases
• Manage customs disputes and ensure rigorous archiving of all documentation
• Act as the expert point of contact for internal departments (Logistics, Accounting, IT, QSE) and external partners (Customs, BNIC, freight forwarders)
• Drive the evolution of customs systems and serve as Key User for specific tools such as GAMMA, DELTA, ERP, and Bewease
• Propose continuous process improvements in collaboration with IT teams and follow up on corrective actions from audits

Requirements

• Master's degree (BAC+4/5) in logistics with a specialization in Customs
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the alcohol sector managing customs procedures
• Confirmed mastery of the Union Customs Code (UCC) and DELTA IE declarations
• Strong knowledge of AEO (OEA) certification requirements
• Proficiency in GAMMA, ACCESS2MARKET, and RITA tools
• Professional fluency in English
• High level of rigor, proactivity, and strong interpersonal skills
