Customs Entry Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process customs clearance by confirming all necessary data and documentation is available
• Review entry details and verify compliance with duty policies and calculations
• Investigate, resolve, and communicate operational or entry issues
• Work directly with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other government agencies (OGA)
• Review client requirements including accounting, credit, customs bonds, audit instructions, and billing
• Enter all billing charges into the system
• Participate in ISO audits and documentation updates

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customs entry or processing
• Familiarity working with Customs Border Patrol (CBP) or Other Government Agencies (OGA)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in CargoWise (C1)
• Proficiency in financial systems such as Cognos or SAP
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
