Responsibilities

• Assess data provided by clients for correctness and completeness
• Timely entry and submission of customs and related declarations in accordance with legal requirements and internal procedures
• Communicate with clients, customs authorities, and internal departments regarding declarations
• Ensure correct, complete, and timely electronic archiving of declarations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs legislation, procedures, and permits
• Identify bottlenecks in the declaration and other processes

Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience with customs legislation, procedures, and permits
• Knowledge of and experience with trade and logistical processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customs, and internal teams
• Meticulous, integer, and stress-resistant working style
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Completed vocational training as a customs declarant or equivalent knowledge
• Basic knowledge of specific customs applications and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
