Customs Broker Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee import and Customs house Broker processes to ensure compliance with US laws and JAS procedures
• Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of entry writers and import personnel
• Manage all interactions with US CBP, ISF, CFS, and other government agencies at local and national levels
• Provide expert guidance to customers regarding classification, valuation, and preferential trade programs
• Monitor Importer Security Filings (ISF) to ensure 100% compliance
• Ensure timely payment of all duty statements, ACH statements, and Periodic Monthly Statements (PMS)
• Partner with local dispatching teams to manage daily freight movement and resolve escalated issues

Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics or forwarding industry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in customs brokerage and regulatory understanding
• Deep knowledge of US CBP, FDA, and US F&W regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using the CargoWise platform
• Bachelor's degree
• Bilingual skills
