Customs Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process and submit accurate customs declarations for clients across the EMEA region
• Conduct tariff classification of goods and ensure correct valuation in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with internal operations teams and external clients to resolve customs-related queries
• Monitor and interpret changes in customs laws and regulations to advise on potential impacts
• Identify and escalate complex customs issues to senior management
• Maintain meticulous records to ensure all activities adhere to high compliance standards

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or a related field
• Solid understanding of EMEA customs procedures, import/export regulations, and tariff classification
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in customs declaration software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in both German and English
• A 'compliance first' attitude suitable for a heavily regulated industry
