Customs Agent

Responsibilities

• Prepare necessary customs forms for import, export, and transit procedures, including master guides, cargo manifests, and general declarations.
• Detail customs duties, taxes, and VAT forms to ensure timely shipment processing.
• Ensure full compliance of all ramp activities with country policies, tax laws, and FedEx regulations.
• Interact with customs officials and coordinate activities with internal staff.
• Contact customers to provide information regarding shipments and additional tax payments.
• Maintain organized filing of all customs documentation.
• Process flight information through customs computer systems and track shipment cases.
• Manage inventory of loads in urgent shipping warehouses and control supplies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in international trade or a related field.
• Proficiency in English (minimum 450 TOEIC points).
• Two years of experience in air cargo, customs clearance processes, and airport procedures.
• Strong knowledge of customs laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical thinking, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong administrative skills and computer literacy.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
