About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical engineering support for Hot Section engine hardware, including Combustor, Diffuser, High Pressure Turbine, and Turbine Intermediate Case.
  • Interface with commercial airline operators, MRO shops, and airframe companies to resolve technical issues.
  • Develop technical data such as Engineering Authorizations (EAs), Special Instructions, and Service Bulletins.
  • Contribute to updates for Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Engine Manuals, and Clean, Inspect & Repair (CIR) manuals.
  • Respond to customer technical questions to maintain fleet safety and MRO shop throughput.
  • Participate in customer meetings, conferences, and council calls to present relevant engineering material.
  • Collaborate with Program Offices, Field Service Representatives, and regulatory authorities to implement fleet management solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement to meet on-time delivery metrics for technical case responses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree with no experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to specific program information.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% to domestic and international airline customers, partners, and MRO organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience working with commercial airline customers and MROs.
  • Working knowledge of PW1500G / PW1900G hot section hardware.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to present in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership in engineering continuous improvement.
  • Excellent professional maturity and the ability to build positive relationships.
