Customer Technical Program Manager, Vehicle OS

Responsibilities

• Own the customer-facing program, defining milestones, scope, risk registers, and dependency maps
• Drive delivery coordination across engineering teams and manage cross-team dependencies
• Serve as the primary interface to customer program leadership regarding schedule, risk, and technical dependencies
• Operate the full program governance cadence and report program-side KPIs
• Manage program-level issues and decisions through structured escalation management
• Partner with onsite teams to ensure seamless product integration into customer vehicle programs

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical program management experience within the automotive industry
• Experience at an OEM or Tier-1 supplier
• Strong customer-facing presence at the director level
• Proven ability to coordinate delivery across multiple engineering teams
• Technical depth to engage credibly with engineers across software vehicle and integration domains
• Builder mindset to establish program structures from scratch

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, or AUTOSAR
• Experience with defect management and severity-based SLA tracking
• Background in series production programs or Vehicle OS, IVI, or ADAS platform delivery
• Experience managing the requirements lifecycle including decomposition and traceability
