About the role

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical support problems for enterprise customers
  • Fix customer issues using remote desktop software and provide support via phone and email
  • Perform root cause analysis and recreate software bugs in-house
  • Work independently and collaboratively to identify solutions and escalate issues to the development team
  • Build labs and simulators to test scenarios and contribute to online technical forums

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • MCP, MCSA, or MCSE Microsoft certification
  • 5+ years of technical or customer support experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration and troubleshooting (event logs, crash dumps, network packets, VSS)
  • Strong understanding of networking, connectivity, name resolution, and performance-based issues
  • Foundational knowledge of backup theory, data management, and recovery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL, clustering technologies, or SAN
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft operating system recovery
  • Previous experience with Commvault technologies or other backup software (Veritas, Symantec, Veeam, NetBackup, etc.)
  • Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise environments
