About the role
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, chat, and social media
- Resolve travel-related issues including booking modifications, cancellations, and refunds
- Utilize travel booking systems, GDS, and CRM software
- Provide information regarding travel packages, destinations, and visa requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to expedite issue resolution
- Document all customer interactions and maintain organized records
- Identify recurring issues to provide feedback for process improvement
- Handle multiple customer requests simultaneously
- Escalate complex or sensitive issues to supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of customer support experience, preferably in travel or hospitality
- Proficiency in CRM software and travel booking systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
- Multilingual proficiency
- Customer service certification
