Customer Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and problem resolution for gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, control systems, and auxiliary equipment
• Respond to internal and external customer requests using engineering principles and analytical problem-solving
• Lead root cause analysis activities and implement corrective actions
• Prepare technical reports, procedures, and engineering documentation
• Travel to customer sites for technical review meetings, inspections, and outage support
• Act as liaison between field operations, design engineering, commercial, service, and repair teams
• Support commercial teams with technical input for sales and service proposals
• Participate in resolution of Technical Non-Conformity Reports and Requests for Action

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred with exposure to gas/steam turbine design, operation, repair, or commissioning
• Experience developing and writing specifications and/or proposals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient technical report writing and communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite and simulation software
• Fluency in business English; knowledge of Japanese is an advantage
