About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on materials, fits, tolerances, load/life calculations, sizing, and product selection
- Support customers integrating components into designs using CAD models and engineering analysis
- Handle complex, custom, and competitive cross-over quoting
- Manage quality claims by working with customer service and procurement
- Deliver technical presentations to engineering groups
- Maintain product databases, catalog content, and website information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 0-3 years of relevant engineering or technical experience
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical components
- Ability to read engineering drawings and perform mechanical calculations
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM software
- VBA/VB skills
